  2. Idk if it’s because I subbed whole milk for coconut or because I live in Washington and it’s winter but I couldn’t for the life of me get this babka to bake to temp! Day 1 I baked it to the recipe and when I took it out to cool and popped it out of the pan it was completely underbaked. I put it in the freezer overnight and today I baked it at 350 for 30 minutes and it was still pale on the bottom so I bumped up the temp to 400 and baked it for another hour. I checked the browning and it looks good now hopefully when I cut it open it’s done.
