- 50g plain flour
- 1 tsp paprika
- 2 medium free-range eggs, beaten
- 100g breadcrumbs (see notes)

Instructions
Prepare the Oven
- Preheat oven to 200℃ fan/220℃/Gas Mark 7.
- Grease a baking sheet with oil.
Prepare the Chicken
- Slice chicken breasts into finger-shaped strips about 2-3cm wide.
Coat the Chicken
- In a small bowl, mix flour, paprika, salt, and black pepper.
- Dip each chicken strip into the flour mixture, then into the beaten egg, and finally into the breadcrumbs, ensuring an even coating.
- Alternative method: Place the chicken strips in a lidded Tupperware container, add the flour mixture, and shake until coated. Add the egg, shake again, then add the breadcrumbs and shake one final time.
Bake the Chicken
- Arrange coated chicken strips on the greased baking sheet.
- Bake for 20-23 minutes, turning halfway through, until golden brown and cooked through.
- Check at 15 minutes if your strips are small to prevent overcooking.
Notes
- For extra crispiness, use panko breadcrumbs instead of regular breadcrumbs.
- To make these gluten-free, swap plain flour and breadcrumbs for gluten-free alternatives.
