Description

This whipped feta with hot honey is creamy, salty, sweet, and lightly spicy. Made with feta, cream cheese, olive oil, and finished with a drizzle of hot honey and herbs, it is a quick and elegant appetizer that comes together in just 10 minutes.


Ingredients

  • 8 ounces block feta cheese, drained
  • 4 ounces cream cheese, softened
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 to 3 tablespoons hot honey
  • 1 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes
  • 1 teaspoon fresh thyme leaves
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper

Instructions

  1. Add feta cheese, cream cheese, olive oil, and black pepper to a food processor.
  2. Blend until smooth and fluffy, about 1 to 2 minutes, scraping down the sides as needed.
  3. Spoon the whipped mixture into a shallow serving bowl and create decorative swirls with the back of a spoon.
  4. Drizzle 2 to 3 tablespoons of hot honey evenly over the top.
  5. Sprinkle with crushed red pepper flakes and fresh thyme leaves.
  6. Serve immediately with bread, crackers, or fresh vegetables.
