- 2/3 cup heavy whipping cream
- 1/2 cup corn syrup
- 1/4 cup packed brown sugar
- 1/4 cup cocoa powder
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 3/4 cups semi-sweet chocolate chips
- 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 box fudge brownie mix
- 2/3 cup vegetable oil
- 1/4 cup water
- 2 eggs
Instructions
- Prepare the hot fudge sauce: In a medium saucepan over medium heat, combine butter, heavy cream, corn syrup, brown sugar, cocoa powder, and salt. Stir until smooth and heated through. Remove from heat and stir in chocolate chips and vanilla extract until melted and combined. Set aside.
- Prepare the brownie batter according to package instructions, mixing brownie mix, vegetable oil, water, and eggs until smooth.
- Spray the slow cooker with nonstick cooking spray. Pour half of the brownie batter into the slow cooker, spreading evenly.
- Pour half of the hot fudge sauce over the brownie batter.
- Top with the remaining brownie batter and then the remaining hot fudge sauce.
- Cover and cook on low for 2–3 hours, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out with a few moist crumbs.
- Let cool slightly before serving. Scoop directly from the slow cooker for a warm, gooey dessert.

- For extra texture, sprinkle nuts or chocolate chunks between layers.
