Description

This Sausage Cream Cheese Casserole is an easy and delicious breakfast bake that requires just three simple ingredients. Ingredients

  • 2 packages (9.6 oz each) sausage crumbles

  • 8 oz cream cheese

 
  • 2 packages (8 oz each) crescent roll dough


Instructions

  • Preheat the Oven: Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Grease a 9×13-inch baking dish or line it with parchment paper.

  • Cook the Sausage and Cream Cheese: In a medium pot over low heat, cook the sausage crumbles with the cream cheese until fully melted and combined. Stir occasionally.

  • Prepare the Crescent Roll Dough: Unroll one package of crescent roll dough and press it into the bottom of the prepared baking dish. Pinch the seams together to form a solid layer.

  • Layer the Sausage Mixture: Spread the sausage and cream cheese mixture evenly over the dough.

  • Top with Crescent Roll Dough: Unroll the second package of crescent roll dough and place it over the sausage mixture. Pinch the seams together and press the edges to seal.

  • Bake: Bake for 14-16 minutes, or until golden brown and cooked through.

 

  • Serve: Let the casserole cool for a few minutes before slicing. Serve warm and enjoy!


Notes

  • For extra flavor, add shredded cheese between the sausage layer and top crescent roll dough.
