- 1 cup fresh cilantro, packed
- 1/2 cup fresh parsley, packed
- 2 medium jalapeno peppers, seeds removed
- 2 garlic cloves, peeled
- 1/2 cup mayonnaise
- 1/4 cup Greek yogurt
- 2 tablespoons fresh lime juice
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
Instructions
- Add cilantro, parsley, jalapeno peppers, and garlic cloves to a blender.
- Add mayonnaise, Greek yogurt, fresh lime juice, olive oil, salt, and black pepper.
- Blend on high speed for about 1 minute until completely smooth and creamy, scraping down the sides if needed.
- Taste and adjust salt or lime juice as desired.
- Transfer to a bowl and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes before serving to allow flavors to develop.
Notes
- For more heat, keep some jalapeno seeds or add an extra pepper.
- For a lighter version, replace mayonnaise with additional Greek yogurt.
- Let the sauce chill for a few hours for deeper flavor.
- Store in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 4 days.
