- 500 grams beef steak, cubed
- 1 large onion, chopped
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1.5 cups beef broth
- 2 teaspoons black pepper
- 2 tablespoons flour
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 1 sheet puff pastry
- Salt to taste
- 1 egg, beaten
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 190°C.
- Toss beef with salt, pepper, and flour.
- Heat butter in a pan over medium heat.
- Cook beef until browned.
- Add onion and garlic and cook until softened.
- Stir in beef broth and simmer until thickened.
- Transfer filling to a baking dish.
- Cover with puff pastry and brush with egg.
- Bake for 25 to 30 minutes until golden.
- Let rest before serving.
