Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F and lightly grease an 8×8 inch baking dish.
- Spread the sliced ripe bananas evenly in the prepared baking dish.
- Sprinkle the brown sugar evenly over the bananas.
- In a mixing bowl, whisk together the all purpose flour, granulated sugar, baking powder, salt, and ground cinnamon.
- Stir in the melted unsalted butter, whole milk, and vanilla extract until just combined. Do not overmix.
- Pour the batter evenly over the banana layer without stirring.
- Bake for 40 to 45 minutes, until the top is golden brown and set in the center.
- Remove from the oven and let cool for at least 10 minutes before serving.
