- 12 ounces fettuccine pasta
- 2 large chicken breast, sliced
- 4 garlic cloves, minced
- 1 lemon, juiced and zested
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 1 1/2 cups heavy cream
- 1 cup grated parmesan cheese
- 2 tablespoons parsley, chopped
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
Instructions
- Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil and cook pasta until al dente.
- Season chicken with salt and pepper.
- Heat butter in a skillet and cook chicken until golden, then remove and slice.
- In the same pan sauté garlic, then add cream, lemon juice, zest, and parmesan.
- Add cooked pasta and toss until coated.
- Return chicken to the pan and mix well.
- Garnish with parsley and serve warm.
Notes
- Use fresh parmesan for best texture
- Add pasta water if sauce is too thick
- Adjust lemon to taste
