- 1 ball pizza dough, about 400 grams
- 250 grams mozzarella cheese, shredded or sliced
- 3 garlic cloves, finely minced
- 2 tablespoons olive oil, about 30 milliliters
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon dried oregano
- 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, finely chopped
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 220 degrees Celsius and place a baking tray or pizza stone inside to heat.
- In a small bowl, mix the minced garlic with olive oil and salt.
- Carefully remove the hot tray from the oven and lightly oil the surface.
- Stretch the pizza dough into a round shape and place it on the tray.
- Brush the dough evenly with the garlic oil mixture.
- Sprinkle mozzarella cheese evenly over the surface and top with dried oregano.
- Bake for 12 to 15 minutes until the crust is golden and the cheese is bubbling with light golden spots.
- Remove from the oven and sprinkle with freshly chopped parsley.
- Slice and serve warm.

- Use room temperature dough for easier stretching.
- Preheat the tray well to ensure a crisp crust.
- Let the pizza rest for a couple of minutes before slicing to keep the cheese in place.
