Description

A rich and flavorful garlic butter made with softened butter, fresh garlic, parsley, and a touch of lemon juice. Perfect for bread, vegetables, pasta, and more.

Ingredients

Units Scale
  • 1 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 4 cloves garlic, finely minced
  • 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, finely chopped
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon lemon juice

Instructions

  1. Let the butter sit at room temperature until soft and easy to mix.
  2. Add the softened butter, minced garlic, chopped parsley, salt, black pepper, and lemon juice to a mixing bowl.
  3. Use a fork or spatula to mix until smooth, fluffy, and evenly combined.
  4. Spoon the garlic butter into a small serving bowl or shape it into a log using parchment paper.
  5. Chill for 15 to 20 minutes if you want a firmer texture.
  6. Serve spread on warm bread or melt over vegetables, pasta, potatoes, or cooked fish.

Notes

  • Use softened, not melted, butter for the best texture.
  • Fresh parsley gives the brightest flavor and color.
  • Freeze extra garlic butter in a log shape for easy slicing later.
