- 1 small head of cabbage, chopped
- 1/2 lb shrimp, peeled and deveined
- 1/2 lb smoked sausage, sliced
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 1/2 tsp smoked paprika
- 1/2 tsp onion powder
- 1/2 tsp red pepper flakes (optional)
- Salt and black pepper to taste
Instructions
- Heat 1 tablespoon of olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add the sliced smoked sausage and cook until browned, about 3-4 minutes. Remove from the skillet and set aside.
- In the same skillet, add the remaining olive oil and minced garlic. Sauté for about 30 seconds until fragrant.
- Add the chopped cabbage, smoked paprika, onion powder, and red pepper flakes. Cook, stirring occasionally, for 5-7 minutes or until the cabbage starts to soften.
- Add the shrimp and cooked sausage back into the skillet. Stir well and cook for another 3-4 minutes until the shrimp are pink and fully cooked.
