Ingredients
For the Taco Meat:
- 1 lb ground beef
- 1 packet (1 oz) taco seasoning
- 1/2 cup water
For the Salad:
- 6 cups romaine or iceberg lettuce, chopped
- 1 cup cherry tomatoes, halved
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1/2 cup black beans (optional)
- 1/2 cup corn (optional)
- 1/4 cup sliced black olives (optional)
- 1/2 cup Catalina or ranch dressing
- 2 cups Nacho Cheese Doritos, crushed
Instructions
1️⃣ Cook the Taco Meat:
- In a skillet over medium heat, cook the ground beef until browned.
- Drain excess fat, then stir in taco seasoning and water.
- Simmer for 5 minutes, stirring occasionally. Remove from heat and let it cool slightly.
2️⃣ Prepare the Salad:
- In a large bowl, combine chopped lettuce, cherry tomatoes, shredded cheese, black beans, corn, and olives.
3️⃣ Add the Crunch:
- Just before serving, toss in crushed Doritos and warm taco meat.
4️⃣ Dress & Serve:
