Description

  • 1 cup marinara sauce (low-carb or regular)
  • 1 tsp olive oil
  • 1/2 tsp Italian seasoning
  • 1/4 tsp garlic powder

Protein:

  • 1/2 lb cooked Italian sausage or ground beef
  • 1/4 cup pepperoni slices

Cheese:

  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese

Toppings (Optional):

 
  • 1/4 cup mushrooms, sliced
  • 1/4 cup green bell peppers, diced
  • 1/4 cup black olives, sliced
  • 1 tbsp red pepper flakes (optional for spice)

Instructions

1️⃣ Preheat & Prepare:

  • Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
  • Lightly grease an oven-safe bowl or ramekin with olive oil.

2️⃣ Layer the Sauce & Protein:

  • Spread ½ cup marinara sauce at the bottom of the bowl.
  • Add a layer of cooked Italian sausage or ground beef.

3️⃣ Add Toppings & Cheese:

  • Sprinkle Italian seasoning and garlic powder over the protein.
  • Add sliced mushrooms, bell peppers, and olives if using.
  • Layer with mozzarella cheese and top with pepperoni slices.
  • Finish with Parmesan cheese for extra flavor.

4️⃣ Bake & Serve:

 

  • Bake for 12-15 minutes until the cheese is bubbly and slightly golden.
  • Let cool for 2-3 minutes before serving.
