For the Meatloaf:
- 1.5 lbs ground beef
- 1 cup breadcrumbs
- 1 egg, beaten
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1/2 onion, finely chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tsp salt

- 1/2 cup ketchup (plus extra for topping)
- 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
For the Potato Casserole:
- 2 lbs potatoes, peeled and sliced
- 1 onion, sliced
- 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 can (10.75 oz) condensed cream of mushroom soup
- 1/2 cup milk
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 2 tbsp butter, melted

Prepare the Meatloaf Mixture:
- In a large bowl, combine ground beef, breadcrumbs, egg, milk, chopped onion, minced garlic, salt, pepper, ketchup, and Worcestershire sauce.
- Mix well and shape into a loaf.

Prepare the Potato Casserole:
- In a separate bowl, mix sliced potatoes, sliced onion, half of the shredded cheddar cheese, cream of mushroom soup, milk, salt, and pepper.

Assemble the Casserole:
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
- In a 9×13 inch baking dish, spread the potato mixture evenly.
- Place the meatloaf on top of the potatoes.
- Top the meatloaf with extra ketchup.
- Sprinkle the remaining cheddar cheese over the potatoes.
- Drizzle the melted butter over the top.
