For the Steak:

  • 1 lb steak (ribeye or sirloin), sliced into strips
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tbsp Cajun seasoning
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • Salt and pepper, to taste

For the Pasta:

  • 12 oz fettuccine pasta
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • 2 cups heavy cream
  • 1 cup Parmesan cheese, grated
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp onion powder
  • 1/2 tsp smoked paprika
  • 1/4 tsp cayenne pepper (optional, for extra heat)
  • Salt and pepper, to taste

Garnish (Optional):

  • Fresh parsley, chopped
  • Extra Parmesan cheese

Instructions

Step 1: Cook the Pasta

  1. Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil.
  2. Cook fettuccine according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.

Step 2: Cook the Steak

  1. In a bowl, season the steak strips with Cajun seasoning, minced garlic, salt, and pepper.
  2. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
  3. Add the steak and cook for 3-4 minutes per side until browned and cooked to your desired doneness.
  4. Remove from the pan and set aside.

Step 3: Make the Alfredo Sauce

  1. In the same skillet, melt butter over medium heat.
  2. Pour in the heavy cream and whisk in the garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, and cayenne pepper.
  3. Simmer for 2-3 minutes, then stir in the Parmesan cheese. Continue stirring until smooth and creamy.
  4. Season with salt and pepper to taste.

Step 4: Combine Everything

  1. Add the cooked fettuccine to the Alfredo sauce, tossing to coat evenly.
  2. Return the cooked steak to the pan, gently mixing it into the pasta.

Step 5: Serve & Garnish

  1. Garnish with fresh parsley and extra Parmesan cheese.
  2. Serve hot and enjoy!

Notes

  • For a spicier kick, add more cayenne pepper or a dash of hot sauce.
  • Use fresh Parmesan for the best flavor and creamy consistency.
  • Swap fettuccine for penne or another pasta of choice.

  • Try shrimp instead of steak for a delicious Cajun Shrimp Alfredo variation.
