This Butterfinger Puppy Chow is a fun and delicious twist on classic muddy buddies! Ingredients

  • 7 cups Rice Chex cereal
  • 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 1/2 cup creamy peanut butter
  • 1/4 cup salted butter
  • 1 tsp pure vanilla extract
  • 18 fun-size Butterfinger candy bars, crushed
 
  • 1 1/4 cups powdered sugar

Instructions

  • Melt the chocolate: In a microwave-safe bowl, combine the chocolate chips, peanut butter, and salted butter. Microwave in 30-second intervals, stirring between each, until smooth and fully melted. Stir in vanilla extract.
  • Coat the cereal: Pour the Rice Chex cereal into a large mixing bowl. Drizzle the melted chocolate mixture over the cereal, gently stirring until all pieces are coated.
  • Add Butterfinger: Sprinkle the crushed Butterfinger candy bars over the coated cereal and mix until evenly distributed.
  • Coat with sugar: Transfer the cereal mixture into a large zip-top bag. Add the powdered sugar, seal the bag, and shake well until everything is coated.

 

  • Cool & Serve: Spread the puppy chow onto a baking sheet to cool. Once fully set, serve and enjoy!
