Description

Theseย crispy Buffalo Chicken Wonton Cupsย are the ultimate party appetizer! Filled withย shredded chicken, hot sauce, cream cheese, sour cream, cheddar, blue cheese, and spring onions, theyโ€™reย spicy, creamy, and irresistibly crunchy.ย 


Ingredients

  • 12 wonton wrappers (see notes)

  • 1 cup cooked chicken, shredded

  • 1/4 cup buffalo sauce (like Frankโ€™s Hot Sauce)

  • 1/2 cup cream cheese, softened

  • 1/4 cup sour cream

  • 1 cup grated cheddar cheese (divided)

  • 1/4 cup blue cheese, crumbled

  • 4 spring onions, finely chopped (divided)

  • Cooking oil spray


Instructions

  1. Prep Wonton Cups

    • Preheat oven toย 170ยฐC (340ยฐF).

    • Spray aย 12-hole muffin tinย with oil. Press a wonton wrapper into each hole.

    • Bake forย 10 minsย until golden. Set aside.

  2. Make Filling

    • In a bowl, mixย chicken, buffalo sauce, cream cheese, sour cream, ยฝ cup cheddar, blue cheese, and half the spring onions.

    • (Thermomix: Grate cheeseย 10 sec, Speed 8. Add other ingredients, mixย 10 sec, Reverse, Speed 4.)

  3. Assemble & Bake

    • Fill cups with mixture. Top withย reserved cheddar.

    • Bakeย 10 minsย until cheese melts.

    • Garnish withย extra spring onions & buffalo sauce.


Notes

  • Shortcut: Useย rotisserie chickenย for easy prep.

  • Make ahead: Assemble cups (unbaked) and refrigerateย up to 1 day. Bake before serving.

  • Spice level: Adjust hot sauce to taste.
