Description

This Blooming Onion Sauce is a creamy, zesty, and slightly spicy dipping sauce that pairs perfectly with a crispy blooming onion, fries, onion rings, or chicken tenders. It’s quick to make and enhances any appetizer with its bold flavors!


Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise
  • 2 tablespoons ketchup
  • 1 tablespoon prepared horseradish
  • 1/2 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1/2 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper (optional, for extra spice)
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
 
  • 1 teaspoon lemon juice (optional, for tanginess)

Instructions

  • Mix the Base:

    • In a mixing bowl, combine mayonnaise, ketchup, horseradish, and Worcestershire sauce.
  • Add the Seasonings:

    • Stir in smoked paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, cayenne pepper, salt, and black pepper.

 

  • Blend & Chill:

    • Mix well until fully combined.
    • Add lemon juice if using and stir again.
    • Cover and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes before serving to enhance the flavors.
