Description

  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 2 tbsp flour
  • 1 tbsp olive oil

For the Sauce:

  • 2 tbsp butter
  • 1 small onion, finely chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup mushrooms, sliced
  • 1/2 cup beef broth
  • 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tsp Dijon mustard
  • 1/2 cup sour cream

For Serving:

 
  • Egg noodles, rice, or mashed potatoes

Instructions

1️⃣ Prepare the Beef:

  • In a bowl, season steak with garlic powder, salt, and black pepper.
  • Toss with flour until evenly coated.

2️⃣ Sear the Beef:

  • Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
  • Add beef strips and cook until browned on both sides (3-4 minutes).
  • Remove from the pan and set aside.

3️⃣ Sauté the Vegetables:

  • In the same pan, melt butter and sauté onion and garlic until soft.
  • Add mushrooms and cook until tender.

4️⃣ Make the Sauce:

  • Stir in beef broth, Worcestershire sauce, and Dijon mustard.
  • Simmer for 5 minutes, then return the beef to the pan.

5️⃣ Finish with Cream:

  • Reduce heat to low and stir in sour cream, mixing until smooth.
  • Cook for 2-3 more minutes, ensuring the beef is tender.

6️⃣ Serve & Enjoy:
