Description

Golden, flaky puff pastry filled with savory seasoned turkey, herby stuffing flavors, and a sweet ribbon of cranberry sauce. These Turkey, Stuffing & Cranberry Sausage Rolls are perfect for holidays, gatherings, or a cozy snack that everyone will love.


Ingredients

  • 1 pound ground turkey
  • 1 teaspoon dried sage
  • 1 teaspoon dried thyme
  • 1 small onion, finely chopped (about 1 cup)
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1 cup cranberry sauce
  • 2 puff pastry sheets, thawed but cold
  • 1 large egg, beaten
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine ground turkey, dried sage, dried thyme, chopped onion, minced garlic, breadcrumbs, salt, and black pepper. Mix gently until just combined.
  3. Lay out the puff pastry sheets on a lightly floured surface, keeping them cold but workable.
  4. Divide the turkey mixture evenly between the pastry sheets, shaping it into a log along one side of each sheet. Spread a thin line of cranberry sauce over the turkey mixture.
  5. Roll the pastry tightly over the filling and seal the edge using beaten egg. Slice each roll into equal portions.
  6. Place slices cut side up on the prepared baking sheet and brush the tops with egg wash.
  7. Bake for 20 to 25 minutes until golden brown and the internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C).
  8. Allow to cool slightly before serving.

Notes

  • Chill assembled rolls for 10 minutes before baking for cleaner slices.
  • Do not overfill the pastry to prevent splitting.
  • Reheat in a 350°F (175°C) oven for 10 minutes to restore crispness.
