Description

These Turkey and Cranberry Sausage Rolls combine lean turkey mince with fragrant thyme and tangy cranberry sauce, all wrapped in buttery puff pastry. Perfect as a savory snack or appetizer, they offer a delightful balance of sweet and savory flavors baked to golden perfection.

  • 500g Turkey Mince
  • 1/2 Teaspoon Garlic Powder
  • 375g Ready-Rolled Puff Pastry
  • 130g Cranberry Sauce
  • 1 Tablespoon Milk
  • Spray Oil (for greasing)
  • 1 Tablespoon Fresh Thyme Leaves
  • 1 Teaspoon Sea Salt
  • 1/4 Teaspoon Black Pepper

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400ยฐF (200ยฐC) and lightly grease a baking tray with spray oil.
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine turkey mince, garlic powder, fresh thyme leaves, sea salt, and black pepper. Mix well.
  3. Roll out the puff pastry on a lightly floured surface and cut into two equal rectangles.
  4. Divide the turkey mixture evenly along the center of each pastry rectangle.
  5. Spoon cranberry sauce evenly over the turkey mixture.
  6. Fold the pastry over to enclose the filling and press the edges to seal. Use a fork to crimp the edges.
  7. Brush the tops with milk for a golden finish.
  8. Place the sausage rolls on the prepared baking tray and bake for 25-30 minutes or until the pastry is golden and cooked through.
  9. Remove from oven and let cool slightly before serving.
