Description

TikTok Spaghetti is a creamy, indulgent pasta dish that’s taken social media by storm. Ground beef simmers in a rich tomato sauce, then is combined with a luscious cream and cheese mixture, creating a decadent spaghetti everyone will love.

Ingredients

Units Scale
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 medium onion, diced
  • 8 cloves garlic, minced, divided
  • 1 tbsp sugar
  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 28 oz crushed tomatoes, 1 large can
  • 2 tsp garlic powder, optional
  • 2 tsp onion powder, optional
  • 1 tsp dried oregano
  • 16 oz spaghetti
  • 1/2 cup butter, unsalted preferred
  • 2 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup Parmigiano Reggiano cheese, grated
  • 1 cup mozzarella, grated
  • 2 tbsp fresh flat leaf parsley, chopped

Instructions

  1. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add the diced onion and sauté until translucent.
  2. Add half of the minced garlic (4 cloves) and cook for 1–2 minutes until fragrant.
  3. Add ground beef to the skillet, breaking it apart, and cook until browned. Drain excess fat if necessary.
  4. Stir in crushed tomatoes, sugar, garlic powder, onion powder, and dried oregano. Simmer for 15–20 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  5. Meanwhile, cook spaghetti according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
  6. In a separate saucepan, melt butter over medium heat. Add remaining 4 cloves garlic and cook briefly.
  7. Pour in heavy cream, stir, and let it simmer gently for 3–5 minutes.
  8. Mix in Parmigiano Reggiano and mozzarella until smooth and creamy.
  9. Combine the cooked spaghetti with the tomato-beef sauce, then pour the creamy cheese sauce over everything. Toss gently to coat evenly.
  10. Garnish with chopped fresh parsley and serve immediately.

Notes

  • Use freshly grated Parmesan for the best flavor and melting quality.
  • Adjust the cream and cheese ratio to make it thicker or creamier according to preference.
  • For a spicier version, add crushed red pepper flakes while simmering the tomato sauce.
  • Leftovers can be stored in the fridge for up to 3 days and reheated gently.
