  • 2 cups broccoli florets

  • 1/4 cup low-sodium soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons honey (or maple syrup)
  • 1 tablespoon rice vinegar
  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil
  • 1 teaspoon cornstarch (mixed with 1 tablespoon water)
  • 1 teaspoon sesame seeds (for garnish)
  • 2 green onions, sliced (for garnish)

Instructions

  • Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add the ground beef and cook until browned, breaking it apart with a spatula. Drain excess fat if necessary.
  • Add garlic and ginger, and sautรฉ for 1 minute until fragrant.
  • Stir in broccoli, bell pepper, and carrot. Cook for 3โ€“5 minutes until the vegetables are tender-crisp.
  • In a small bowl, mix soy sauce, honey, rice vinegar, and sesame oil. Add the cornstarch slurry and whisk well.
  • Pour the sauce over the beef and vegetables, stirring to coat evenly. Cook for another 2โ€“3 minutes until the sauce thickens.
  • Remove from heat, garnish with sesame seeds and green onions, and serve over rice or cauliflower rice.
