These Tachos (Tater Tot Nachos) are a fun twist on classic nachos, with crispy tater tots topped with seasoned ground beef, melted nacho cheese, fresh tomatoes, jalapeรฑos, and cilantro. Perfect for a quick snack or a fun party appetizer!
Ingredients

2-pound bag frozen tater tots

1 pound ground beef (93% lean)

1/2 cup diced yellow onion

1 ounce packet taco seasoning

1/8 cup water

1 cup nacho cheese

1 cup cherry tomatoes, sliced (use any tomato you prefer)

1-2 fresh jalapeรฑos, sliced (or use pickled jalapeรฑos)

2 Tablespoons cilantro (optional, can also use parsley)

1/2 cup sour cream (for topping or on the side for serving)
Instructions

Preheat oven: Preheat the oven to 350ยฐF (175ยฐC).

Bake the tater tots: Spread the frozen tater tots on a parchment paper-lined (or sprayed with nonstick cooking spray) baking sheet. Bake according to the instructions on the package until crispy.

Cook the beef: While the tater tots are baking, heat a sautรฉ pan over medium heat. Add the ground beef and diced yellow onion. Cook and crumble the beef for 7 minutes or until no longer pink. Drain excess grease.

Season the beef: Add the taco seasoning and โ cup water to the beef mixture. Stir for 2-3 minutes.

Assemble the Tachos: Once the tater tots are crispy, remove them from the oven and pile them onto a serving dish. Top with the seasoned taco meat.
