Description

This Swiss Roll Lush Cake is a fun, no-bake dessert layered with creamy chocolate pudding, whipped topping, and slices of Swiss cake rolls. It’s rich, indulgent, and perfect for parties or potlucks.


Ingredients

  • 1 package (3.9 oz) instant chocolate pudding mix
  • 2 cups whole milk, cold
  • 2 cups (16 oz) Cool Whip, divided
  • 48 Swiss rolls (or Swiss cake rolls), cut into 5ths

Instructions

  1. In a mixing bowl, whisk together the instant chocolate pudding mix and cold milk until smooth and thickened.
  2. Fold in 1 cup of Cool Whip to make a creamy chocolate layer.
  3. Arrange a layer of sliced Swiss rolls in the bottom of a 9×13-inch dish, covering the base completely.
  4. Spread half of the chocolate pudding mixture over the Swiss rolls.
  5. Add another layer of sliced Swiss rolls, then spread the remaining pudding mixture on top.
  6. Finish with a layer of Cool Whip, spreading evenly across the top.
  7. Decorate with additional Swiss roll slices if desired.
  8. Refrigerate for at least 2 hours (or overnight) to set before serving.
