- 1 teaspoon celery seed
- 1 teaspoon Dijon mustard

- 1 Granny Smith apple, julienned (about 1 cup)
- 16 oz shredded coleslaw mix (red cabbage, green cabbage, and carrot)
- 1/4 cup sliced green onion, plus more for garnish
Instructions
- Make the Dressing:
- In a small bowl, whisk together the olive oil, apple cider vinegar, maple syrup, celery seed, Dijon mustard, salt, and black pepper until well combined.
- Assemble the Slaw:
- In a large mixing bowl, combine the julienned apple, shredded coleslaw mix, and green onions.
- Toss & Serve:
- Pour the dressing over the slaw and toss until everything is evenly coated.
- Garnish with extra green onions and serve immediately.
Notes
- Make it ahead: This slaw can be made up to 1 day in advance, but add the apples just before serving to prevent browning.
- Customize it: Add sliced almonds, sunflower seeds, or dried cranberries for extra texture and flavor.
