Description

Sugar Cookie Cheesecake is a dreamy dessert that layers a soft sugar cookie crust with a rich, creamy cheesecake filling. Topped with whipped cream and festive sprinkles, it’s the perfect sweet treat for holidays, birthdays, or any special celebration.

Ingredients

Units Scale
  • 1 package (16.5 oz) refrigerated sugar cookie dough
  • 2 (8 oz) packages cream cheese, softened
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1/2 cup sour cream
  • Whipped cream, for topping (optional)
  • Sprinkles, for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Lightly grease a 9-inch springform pan.
  2. Press the sugar cookie dough evenly into the bottom of the pan to form the crust. Bake for 10–12 minutes until lightly golden. Remove from oven and let cool slightly.
  3. In a large bowl, beat cream cheese and sugar until smooth and creamy.
  4. Add eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition. Stir in vanilla and sour cream until fully combined.
  5. Pour cheesecake filling over the cooled cookie crust. Smooth the top with a spatula.
  6. Bake for 40–45 minutes, or until the center is set but slightly jiggly. Turn off oven, crack the door, and let cheesecake cool for 1 hour.
  7. Refrigerate at least 4 hours or overnight before serving.
  8. Top with whipped cream and sprinkles if desired before serving.

Notes

  • Let cream cheese come to room temperature for easier mixing.
  • You can make your own sugar cookie dough if preferred.
  • Decorate with seasonal sprinkles to match holidays or parties.
