Description

This Strawberry Cream Cheese is the perfect blend of sweet and tangy, light, and fluffy. Made with just four simple ingredients, itโ€™s a quick and easy treat thatโ€™s perfect on bagels, toast, or muffins for a delicious breakfast!

Ingredients

  • 4 large fresh strawberries

  • 8-ounce brick cream cheese, softened to room temperature

  • 1/4 cup powdered sugar

ย

  • 1/8 teaspoon coarse salt

Instructions

  • Wash and fully dry the strawberries. Remove the stems and chop them roughly to yield about ยฝ cup of strawberries. Transfer them to a medium bowl and crush using a potato masher or fork.

  • In a separate bowl, use a handheld electric mixer to blend the cream cheese, powdered sugar, and salt until fluffy. Scrape down the sides of the bowl.

  • Add the mashed strawberries to the cream cheese mixture, and continue beating until fully incorporated and the mixture is light and fluffy.

ย

  • Serve on bagels, toast, or muffins for a quick, delightful breakfast or snack!

Notes

  • Store any leftover strawberry cream cheese in the fridge for up to a week.

ย

  • You can adjust the amount of powdered sugar depending on your sweetness preference.
