Description

These Spinach Puffs are golden, flaky, and packed with a creamy spinach and feta filling! Made with buttery puff pastry, they come together easily and are perfect for appetizers, brunch, or snacking. Watch them disappear fast!


Ingredients

  • 4 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 2 large eggs, divided
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 10 oz frozen chopped spinach, thawed and squeezed dry
  • 4 oz feta cheese, crumbled
  • 1 (17.3 oz) package frozen puff pastry, thawed

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 400ยฐF and grease a muffin tin with cooking spray.
  • In a large bowl, beat together cream cheese, 1 egg, and garlic until smooth. Stir in thawed spinach and feta until combined. Set aside.
  • Roll out the puff pastry into a 10โ€“11 inch square and cut each sheet into 9 squares.
  • Place each puff pastry square into a muffin cup. Fill with about 2 tablespoons of spinach mixture and fold the edges towards the center.
  • Whisk the remaining egg with 1 tablespoon water or milk. Brush over the tops of the puff pastry.
  • Bake for 22-25 minutes, until golden brown. Let rest for 5 minutes, then serve warm!

Notes

  • For extra flavor, sprinkle the tops with grated Parmesan before baking.
  • These can be made ahead of time and reheated at 350ยฐF for 10 minutes.
  • Swap feta for ricotta or goat cheese for a different twist!
