- 2 sheets puff pastry
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/2 onion, sliced
- 2 cups spinach, chopped
- 1 tbsp parsley, chopped
- 1 tsp grated lemon zest
- 3 1/2 oz cream cheese, softened
- 1/8 cup parmesan cheese, grated
- 1 egg
- 1 tsp butter
- 1 tsp mushroom powder
- Pinch of salt and black pepper
- Pinch of nutmeg
- For Egg Wash:
- 1 egg, beaten
- 1 tbsp milk

Instructions
- Preheat oven to 356ยฐF (180ยฐC) and line a baking tray with parchment paper.
- In a medium pan, melt butter over medium heat. Sautรฉ onions and garlic until soft and translucent.
- Add chopped spinach and cook until excess moisture evaporates. Let cool for 2-3 minutes.
- In a bowl, mix cream cheese, parmesan cheese, and egg until smooth. Stir in parsley, lemon zest, salt, pepper, and nutmeg.
- Fold the cheese mixture into the cooled spinach until well combined.
- Cut each puff pastry sheet into 4 squares. Spoon the spinach mixture into the center of each square.
- Fold one corner over the filling to form a triangle. Press edges with a fork to seal.
- Transfer to the baking tray and brush with egg wash. Sprinkle with black sesame seeds if desired.
- Bake for 15-20 minutes, or until golden brown and puffed.
