Ingredients

  • 1 lb chicken breast (cut into 1-inch cubes)
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 2 tbsp honey
  • 1 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp lime juice
  • 23 jalapeños (finely chopped)
  • 2 garlic cloves (minced)
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • 1/2 tsp cumin
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Skewers (wooden or metal)

Instructions

  • In a bowl, combine olive oil, honey, soy sauce, lime juice, chopped jalapeños, minced garlic, paprika, cumin, salt, and pepper. Mix well.
  • Add the chicken cubes to the marinade and toss to coat evenly. Cover and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes to marinate.
  • Preheat your grill or grill pan to medium-high heat.
  • Thread the marinated chicken onto skewers, leaving space between the pieces.
  • Grill the skewers for 6-8 minutes per side, or until the chicken is fully cooked and has a nice char.
  • Serve hot, with a drizzle of extra honey and jalapeños if desired.

Notes

  • If you prefer less heat, remove the seeds from the jalapeños before chopping.
