  • 3 ripe avocados, peeled and seed removed
  • 1/2 medium red onion, roughly chopped
  • 2 medium jalapeรฑo peppers, roughly chopped
  • 3 tablespoons freshly squeezed lime juice (about 1 1/2 medium limes)
  • 3โ€“5 tablespoons water (as needed)
  • 1 teaspoon garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon red pepper flakes
  • 1 teaspoon kosher salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 2 tablespoons fresh cilantro, chopped

Instructions

  1. In a food processor, combine avocados, red onion, jalapeรฑos, lime juice, 3 tablespoons of water, garlic, red pepper flakes, salt, and pepper.
  2. Pulse until blended, scraping down the sides of the bowl as needed. Add more water, one tablespoon at a time, until the dip reaches your desired consistency.
  3. Stir in chopped cilantro.
  4. Serve with tortilla chips, tacos, or nachos.
