- 1/8 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/2 cup finely chopped pecans
- 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour

- In a large bowl, combine cheddar cheese, softened butter, kosher salt, cayenne pepper, black pepper, garlic powder, chopped pecans, and flour. Use your hands to mix the ingredients until a dough forms.
- Chill Dough:
- Shape the dough into a disk and wrap it in plastic wrap. Chill the dough in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes.

- Cool:
- Let the crackers cool on the baking sheets for a few minutes, then transfer them to a wire rack to cool completely.
Notes
- For extra spice, add red pepper flakes to the dough.
- Try using different cheeses like Monterey Jack or Colby Jack for variety.
- For added texture, sprinkle some chopped pecans on top of each cracker before baking.
- Store crackers in an airtight container at room temperature for up to a week.
