- 3 1/2 cups bread flour
- 1 cup active sourdough starter
- 1 cup warm milk
- 3 tablespoons unsalted butter
- 2 tablespoons honey
- 1 1/2 teaspoons salt
- 1/4 cup warm water
Instructions
- Mix starter, milk, honey, and water.
- Add flour, salt, and butter and mix into dough.
- Knead until smooth.
- Let rise until doubled.
- Shape and place in loaf pan.
- Let rise again.
- Bake at 375°F for 30 to 35 minutes.
Notes
- Use active starter.
- Do not overproof.
- Cool before slicing.
