- 1 lb shredded smoked turkey
- 3-4 tablespoons Tony’s No Salt Seasoning
- 4 sliced andouille sausages
- 1 chopped celery stalk
- 3 chopped carrots
- 1/2 yellow onion, chopped
- 1 red tomato, chopped
- 1 whole garlic bulb, minced
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 2-3 cups turkey or chicken stock
- 1 cup heavy cream
Instructions
- Heat olive oil in a large pot over medium heat. Add garlic, onion, celery, and carrots. Sauté until softened, about 5–7 minutes.
- Add sliced andouille sausage and cook for another 3–4 minutes, stirring occasionally.
- Stir in shredded smoked turkey and Tony’s No Salt Seasoning.
- Add chopped tomato and stock. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat and simmer for 15–20 minutes to allow flavors to meld.
- Stir in heavy cream and cook for an additional 5 minutes until heated through. Adjust seasoning if necessary.
- Serve hot, garnished with fresh herbs if desired.
Notes
- For a thicker soup, puree a portion of the vegetables and stir back into the pot.
- Leftovers taste even better the next day as flavors continue to develop.
- Substitute light cream or half-and-half for a lighter version.
