- 28 oz smoked sausage, sliced (2 – 14 oz packages)
- 1/2 white onion, sliced
- 4 medium russet potatoes, peeled and sliced thinly
- 10 slices American cheese
- 10.5 oz can cream of celery soup
Instructions
- Place the sliced smoked sausage and onion in the bottom of the crockpot.
- Layer the thinly sliced russet potatoes on top of the sausage and onion.
- Lay the slices of American cheese evenly over the potatoes.
- Pour the can of cream of celery soup over the layers. Do not stir; just let the soup settle on top.
- Cover the crockpot and cook on low for 6-7 hours, or until the potatoes are tender and the cheese is melted and bubbly.
- Once done, serve hot and enjoy!
Notes
- If you prefer a thicker sauce, you can mix the cream of celery soup with a little milk before pouring over the layers.
