Description

These Smoked Sausage Crock Pot Scalloped Potatoes are the ultimate comfort food, combining smoky sausage, creamy potatoes, and melty American cheese, all cooked together in your crockpot for a simple, flavorful dish.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 28 oz smoked sausage, sliced (2 – 14 oz packages)
  • 1/2 white onion, sliced
  • 4 medium russet potatoes, peeled and sliced thinly
  • 10 slices American cheese
  • 10.5 oz can cream of celery soup

Instructions

  1. Place the sliced smoked sausage and onion in the bottom of the crockpot.
  2. Layer the thinly sliced russet potatoes on top of the sausage and onion.
  3. Lay the slices of American cheese evenly over the potatoes.
  4. Pour the can of cream of celery soup over the layers. Do not stir; just let the soup settle on top.
  5. Cover the crockpot and cook on low for 6-7 hours, or until the potatoes are tender and the cheese is melted and bubbly.
  6. Once done, serve hot and enjoy!

Notes

  • If you prefer a thicker sauce, you can mix the cream of celery soup with a little milk before pouring over the layers.
  • This dish pairs well with a side of green beans or a fresh salad.
