Description

Ingredients

  • 4 lbs beef short ribs
  • Sea salt and black pepper (for seasoning)
  • 2 tablespoons coconut oil
  • 2 cups beef stock (homemade or organic preferred)
  • 1 cup tomato paste
  • 4 tablespoons honey
  • 3โ€“4 cloves garlic (minced)
  • 4 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 teaspoon ground ginger (minced)

Instructions

  1. Season the ribs with salt and pepper on all sides.
  2. In a large pan, melt the coconut oil over medium-high heat. Add the ribs and sear for 4-5 minutes on each side until browned.
  3. Transfer the ribs to the slow cooker. Pour the beef stock over the ribs.
  4. In a small bowl, combine the tomato paste, honey, minced garlic, Worcestershire sauce, and ground ginger. Pour the mixture over the ribs in the slow cooker.
  5. Cook the ribs on low heat for 6-7 hours or until the meat is falling off the bone.
  6. Serve the ribs with your favorite sides and drizzle with the cooking sauce.
