- 1 medium head green cabbage, cored & sliced into thin strips
- 1 medium onion, chopped
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 1 teaspoon olive oil
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
- Salt & pepper, to taste
Instructions
- Prepare the cabbage by removing the core and slicing it into thin strips. Chop the onion.
- In a large skillet over medium-high heat, melt the butter and add the olive oil. Sauté the chopped onion for about 3 minutes until softened.
- Add the sliced cabbage to the skillet, stirring and tossing with tongs to coat in the butter and oil. Cook for 10-15 minutes, stirring frequently, until softened to your desired texture.
- Stir in the smoked paprika and minced garlic, cooking for another 2 minutes. Adjust heat if needed to prevent burning.
- Season with salt and pepper to taste. Serve immediately.
