Description

This Sheet Pan Taco Pizza is the perfect fusion of pizza and tacos! A crispy pizza crust is topped with seasoned ground beef, refried beans, salsa, and gooey melted cheese, then loaded with fresh toppings. Great for weeknights or game days!

For the pizza:

  • 1 lb pizza dough
  • 1 cup store-bought salsa
  • 1 cup refried beans
  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1/4 cup chicken stock
  • 1 tablespoon chili powder
  • 2 teaspoons ground cumin
  • 1 cup shredded Monterey Jack cheese
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese

For toppings:

  • 2 cups shredded lettuce
  • 2 cups diced tomato
  • 1/2 cup white onion, diced
  • 1/4 cup cilantro, chopped
  • 1/2 cup mild pickled jalapeรฑos
  • Sour cream, for serving

Instructions

  • Prepare Dough:

    • Preheat the oven to 450ยฐF and lightly grease a half-sheet pan with olive oil.
    • Roll out the pizza dough to fit the sheet pan, then let it rest for 20 minutes to prevent shrinkage.
  • Cook Beef:

    • In a skillet over medium heat, cook the ground beef until browned. Drain excess fat.
    • Stir in chicken stock, chili powder, and cumin. Simmer for 2-3 minutes, then remove from heat.
  • Assemble Pizza:

    • Spread refried beans evenly over the pizza dough.
    • Layer salsa on top, then add the seasoned beef mixture.
    • Sprinkle Monterey Jack and cheddar cheese evenly over the pizza.
  • Bake:

    • Bake for 12-15 minutes or until the crust is golden and the cheese is melted.

    • Garnish with shredded lettuce, diced tomatoes, white onion, cilantro, and pickled jalapeรฑos.
