Description

A rich and creamy Seafood Bake loaded with cod, shrimp, and scallops in a garlic butter cream sauce, topped with a golden cracker and Parmigiano crust. Perfect for cozy dinners or special occasions.

Ingredients

Units Scale
  • 1 lb cod fillets, cut into chunks
  • 1 lb jumbo shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 1/2 lb scallops
  • 1/4 cup (1 stick) salted butter
  • 2 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/2 cup white wine
  • 1/2 cup heavy whipping cream
  • Zest of 1/2 lemon
  • Black pepper, to taste
  • Charred lemon, for serving
  • Fresh parsley, chopped, for garnish
  • Crunchy Cracker Topping:
  • 4 oz round crackers, crushed
  • 2 tbsp butter, melted
  • 1/2 cup Parmigiano Reggiano, finely grated

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C) and butter a large baking dish.
  2. In a pan, melt butter over medium heat. Add minced garlic and cook until fragrant, about 30 seconds.
  3. Pour in white wine and simmer for 1 minute. Add heavy cream, salt, black pepper, and lemon zest. Stir until slightly thickened.
  4. Arrange cod, shrimp, and scallops evenly in the baking dish. Pour the garlic butter cream sauce over the seafood.
  5. In a bowl, mix crushed crackers, melted butter, and grated Parmigiano Reggiano. Sprinkle evenly over the top.
  6. Bake for 20–25 minutes or until the top is golden brown and the seafood is cooked through. Broil for an extra minute if you want a crispier crust.
  7. Garnish with parsley and charred lemon slices before serving.

Notes

  • Use fresh seafood if possible for best texture.
  • Pat seafood dry before baking to avoid watery sauce.
  • Don’t overbake; seafood cooks quickly.
  • White wine can be replaced with seafood broth or lemon juice for a non-alcoholic version.
