Description

Golden, flaky puff pastry swirls filled with creamy brie, tangy cranberry jelly, and crunchy walnuts. These savory palmiers are elegant, easy, and perfect for holidays or quick entertaining.

  • 1 sheet Pepperidge Farm puff pastry
  • 4 oz good quality brie
  • 7 oz cranberry jelly
  • 1/2 cup walnuts, finely chopped
  • 1 egg, beaten

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Lay out the puff pastry on a lightly floured surface and gently roll to smooth the creases.
  3. Spread a thin layer of cranberry jelly evenly over the pastry.
  4. Sprinkle finely chopped walnuts and small pieces of brie evenly across the surface.
  5. Roll both long sides inward until they meet in the center.
  6. Chill the rolled pastry for 10–15 minutes for easier slicing.
  7. Slice into 1/2-inch thick pieces and place flat on the prepared baking sheet.
  8. Brush each piece with beaten egg and bake for 15–18 minutes until puffed and golden brown.
  9. Cool slightly and serve warm or at room temperature.
