- 1 sheet puff pastry
- 250g ground beef
- 1 small onion, finely chopped
- 1 clove garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon dried thyme
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- 150g shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1 egg, beaten (for egg wash)
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 200°C (400°F).

- Remove from heat and let cool slightly. Once cooled, mix in the shredded mozzarella cheese.
- Roll out the puff pastry on a floured surface. Spread the beef and cheese mixture evenly across the center.
- Roll the pastry tightly around the filling, ensuring the seam is sealed.
- Slice the rolled pastry into 6-8 pieces and place them on a baking tray lined with parchment paper.
- Brush the tops with the beaten egg for a golden finish.
- Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until golden and puffed.
Notes
- For an extra crunch, sprinkle sesame seeds on top before baking.
- These rolls are best served warm but can be reheated in an oven for a crisp finish.
