- 2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts, cut into strips
- 12 oz linguine pasta
- 2 tablespoons Cajun seasoning
- 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 2 tablespoons butter
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- Fresh parsley, chopped, for garnish
Instructions
- Cook the linguine pasta according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
- In a large skillet, heat 1 tablespoon of butter over medium heat. Season the chicken strips with Cajun seasoning, smoked paprika, salt, and pepper.
- Add the chicken to the skillet and cook until browned and cooked through, about 5-7 minutes. Remove the chicken from the skillet and set aside.
- In the same skillet, add the remaining tablespoon of butter. Sautรฉ the garlic until fragrant, about 1 minute.
- Pour in the heavy cream and bring to a simmer. Stir in the grated Parmesan cheese until the sauce thickens, about 3-4 minutes.
- Add the cooked linguine to the skillet and toss to coat in the creamy sauce.
- Add the cooked chicken back into the skillet and toss everything together until well combined.
- Garnish with chopped fresh parsley and serve immediately.
Notes
- For extra flavor, you can marinate the chicken in Cajun seasoning for 30 minutes before cooking.
- Adjust the cream to cheese ratio for a thinner or thicker sauce.
- Serve with a side of crusty bread to soak up the creamy sauce.
