Description

Savory Cajun Chicken served over creamy Parmesan linguine, this dish combines bold Cajun flavors with the richness of a creamy pasta sauce โ€” a perfect weeknight dinner.

Ingredients

Units Scale
  • 2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts, cut into strips
  • 12 oz linguine pasta
  • 2 tablespoons Cajun seasoning
  • 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • Fresh parsley, chopped, for garnish

Instructions

  1. Cook the linguine pasta according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
  2. In a large skillet, heat 1 tablespoon of butter over medium heat. Season the chicken strips with Cajun seasoning, smoked paprika, salt, and pepper.
  3. Add the chicken to the skillet and cook until browned and cooked through, about 5-7 minutes. Remove the chicken from the skillet and set aside.
  4. In the same skillet, add the remaining tablespoon of butter. Sautรฉ the garlic until fragrant, about 1 minute.
  5. Pour in the heavy cream and bring to a simmer. Stir in the grated Parmesan cheese until the sauce thickens, about 3-4 minutes.
  6. Add the cooked linguine to the skillet and toss to coat in the creamy sauce.
  7. Add the cooked chicken back into the skillet and toss everything together until well combined.
  8. Garnish with chopped fresh parsley and serve immediately.

Notes

  • For extra flavor, you can marinate the chicken in Cajun seasoning for 30 minutes before cooking.
  • Adjust the cream to cheese ratio for a thinner or thicker sauce.
  • Serve with a side of crusty bread to soak up the creamy sauce.
