Description
Delicate and crispy almond lace cookies sandwiched with rich melted chocolate and finished with a touch of flaky sea salt. These elegant cookies are perfect for special occasions or as a sweet treat with coffee.
Ingredients
- 4 tbsp salted butter
- 3/4 cup almond flour
- 2/3 cup sweetened condensed milk
- 2 tsp vanilla extract
- 12 oz dark, semi-sweet, or milk chocolate, melted
- Flaked sea salt (optional)

- Chopped pistachios or melted white chocolate (optional, for decorating)
Instructions

Preheat oven to 350ยฐF (175ยฐC). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

In a small saucepan over medium heat, melt the butter until it turns golden brown and smells toasted, about 2-3 minutes. Remove from heat.

In a mixing bowl, combine almond flour, sweetened condensed milk, vanilla extract, browned butter, and 2 tsp water. Stir until smooth; the dough should be thin and pourable.

Drop 1 teaspoon of dough onto the prepared baking sheet, spacing each 3 inches apart.

Bake for 7-8 minutes, or until edges are golden brown. Let cool on the baking sheet for 5 minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.

Sandwich two cookies together with melted chocolate. Drizzle additional chocolate or white chocolate on top and sprinkle with flaked sea salt or chopped pistachios.
