- 14 oz canned fire-roasted tomatoes, drained
- 12 oz roasted red peppers, drained
- 3/4 cup almonds
- 1/4 cup extra virgin olive oil
- 1/4 cup fresh parsley
- 1 tsp paprika
- 1 tsp crushed red pepper
- 2 cloves garlic
- 1 Tbsp red wine vinegar
- Juice of 1/2 lemon
- Salt, to taste
Instructions
- Blend Ingredients:
- Place all ingredients in a blender or food processor.
- Blend until smooth and creamy.
- Adjust Seasoning:
- Taste and adjust salt as needed.
- Serve:
- Use as a dipping sauce, drizzle over grilled meats and seafood, or toss with pasta.
Notes
- Almonds Substitute: You can use hazelnuts instead for a traditional twist.
- For a Smokier Flavor: Add a pinch of smoked paprika.
