Description

Ravioli Casserole is a comforting, cheesy baked dish featuring layers of tender cheese ravioli, creamy cottage cheese, mozzarella, and Parmesan, all baked in a rich pasta sauce. Perfect for a family-friendly dinner.


Ingredients

  • 1 package (20 ounces) refrigerated cheese ravioli
  • 3-1/2 cups pasta sauce
  • 2 cups small-curd 4% cottage cheese
  • 4 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • Minced fresh parsley, optional

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C) and lightly grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
  2. Cook the ravioli according to package instructions until just tender; drain.
  3. Spread a thin layer of pasta sauce on the bottom of the prepared baking dish.
  4. Layer half of the cooked ravioli over the sauce.
  5. Spread half of the cottage cheese over the ravioli, then sprinkle with 2 cups of shredded mozzarella.
  6. Pour half of the remaining pasta sauce over the cheese layer.
  7. Repeat layers with remaining ravioli, cottage cheese, mozzarella, and sauce.
  8. Sprinkle grated Parmesan cheese evenly over the top.
  9. Cover with foil and bake for 25 minutes. Remove foil and bake an additional 10-15 minutes, or until cheese is bubbly and lightly golden.
  10. Garnish with minced fresh parsley before serving, if desired.
