- 2 packages (3 ounces each) raspberry flavored gelatin powder
- 2 cups boiling water
- 2 cups cold water
- 2 tablespoons granulated sugar (optional)
- 1 cup fresh raspberries (for garnish or folding in)
Instructions
- Lightly grease a gelatin mold with a small amount of neutral oil and set aside.
- In a large mixing bowl, pour boiling water over the raspberry gelatin powder.
- Stir continuously until the gelatin is completely dissolved.
- Add granulated sugar if using and stir until dissolved.
- Stir in the cold water until fully combined.
- If adding fresh raspberries inside, gently fold them into the mixture.
- Pour the mixture carefully into the prepared mold.
- Refrigerate for at least 4 hours, or until fully set and firm.
- To unmold, dip the bottom of the mold briefly in warm water, then invert onto a serving plate.
- Garnish with fresh raspberries and serve chilled.
Notes
- Ensure the gelatin is fully dissolved to avoid grainy texture.
- Chill overnight for the cleanest slices.
- Do not freeze, as freezing can change the texture.
- Store covered in the refrigerator for up to 4 days.
