- 1/4 cup hot sauce

- 2 cups self-rising flour (or all-purpose flour + baking powder)
- 2/3 cup corn starch
- 1 tbsp paprika

- 1 cup mayonnaise
- 1 cup ketchup
- 1/4 cup Worcestershire sauce
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 tsp black pepper
- 1 tsp garlic powder
Instructions
- Marinate chicken tenderloins in buttermilk, hot sauce, paprika, garlic powder, chili powder, and pickle juice for at least 2 hours.
- Whisk together self-rising flour, corn starch, paprika, garlic powder, and chili powder for the dry batter.
- Heat oil in a deep fryer or large skillet to 350°F (175°C).
- Remove chicken from marinade and coat evenly in the dry batter.
- Fry chicken in batches until golden brown and internal temperature reaches 165°F, about 4–5 minutes per side. Drain on paper towels.
- Whisk together mayonnaise, ketchup, Worcestershire sauce, salt, black pepper, and garlic powder to make Canes style sauce.
- Serve chicken tenders hot with the sauce on the side.
