Description

This festive and flavorful guacamole is the perfect healthy holiday appetizer! Creamy avocado, fresh cilantro, lime juice, and a pop of sweet-tart pomegranate arils make this dip irresistible. Perfect for serving with tortilla chips, or as a topping for chicken and seafood!


Ingredients

  • 4 ripe avocados, mashed
  • 1/2 red onion, diced
  • 1.5 limes, juiced
  • 1/4 cup fresh cilantro, chopped
  • 1 jalapeño, seeded and finely diced
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp cumin
  • 1/2 tsp sea salt
  • 1 cup pomegranate arils, divided

Instructions

  1. Mash the Avocados
    • In a large bowl, add the avocados and mash them to your desired consistency.
  2. Mix Ingredients
    • Stir in the red onion, lime juice, cilantro, jalapeño, garlic powder, cumin, and sea salt.
    • Add ⅔ cup of the pomegranate arils and mix well.
  3. Garnish & Serve
    • Top with the reserved ⅓ cup of pomegranate arils and extra cilantro if desired.
    • Serve with tortilla chips, pita chips, or fresh veggies!
